Technical, FUNdamental training and conditioned games : 10 am – 11:30 am
The players will spend this time developing their technical and ball mastery skills whist using plyometrics to developing explosive power. During this time, the players will get continuous support from coaches to refine their skill and take them to a higher standard. This will be made possible as there will be support coaches and a limited number of players so every player will get a lot of contact time with the coaches.
Lunch Break /Video: 11:30 am – 1 pm
Players will eat lunch and have the opportunity to recover from the mornings activities. The players will also have the opportunity to watch soccer videos and games during their break.
Small side Games/Tournament : 1 pm- 3 pm
During this time, the players will:
Get an opportunity to play, express themselves, be creative and compete in a controlled and fun environment.
Enjoy free game time where coaching will be limited, letting players put into practice what they have learned.
Have access to a small playing area, play with a heavier ball and players will not be able to play off the wall. The benefit of this type of play is a fast paced, intense game where the players touch the ball more (improving ball control), learn to make quicker decisions and look for angles and spaces.

OUR VIEW ON PLAYER DEVELOPMENT
There is no magic formula to play soccer at the highest level but there are attributes that every great soccer player displays. This can be broken down into the four corners of player development (Technical, Psychological, Social & Physical).
Whilst all the blocks are very important to being a soccer player, it is the “TECHNICAL” block that is the most vital, especially in the foundation state of the player's development. It is key to not just playing the game but impacting the game in a positive way. It forms the base of all soccer and is often regarded as the most difficult to learn at an older age and without guidance or support. At the Dare Academy, we specialize in this.
